A fairy tale
Part 1
Part 1
…………….
………Then
time passed and they lived a whole life without meeting again.
The goddess of the sea and the god of the
lake.
However,
twenty years later one night, the god of the lake heard some music and sadness
came all over him.
It was a
night with a full moon, when he and his men usually came up from the depths of
the lake and went to the woods. To the woods, to run and dance.
This time, however, he didn’t feel like going
up, so he didn’t follow his men but stayed there at the depths of the lake,
alone.
It was then
that she came to his mind!
He felt he would like to see her again.
Then he
doubted, but quick as he was, he made up his mind to try to meet her.
So one
night when there was no moon in the sky, he sent his message with the brightest
star!
That night
the light of the star glared so intensely on the surface of the sea, down there
to the south that she woke up!
She hadn’t
been out of the sea for ten years!
For ten whole years she stayed in the
darkness, at the depths of the sea and it was only her girls who went up, to
their beach to run and dance and laugh, every full moon!
But that
autumnal star light was so bright that guided her to the surface of the water.
It was so
powerful that almost blew her to the beach, where, at first, she stood petrified.
Soon, she
calmed down by the beauty of the night star and slowly started a divine song!
Such
beautiful singing, that the star took it to the skies.
All over to the north!
When he
heard the singing voice, he knew he really wanted to see her after all these
years.
So riding the light of the star, he reached her beach!
They met,
again. After all these years!
They were
together!
Three full
moons, three meetings!
They looked
at each other and every sound vanished.
Every picture
vanished.
Just them two.
United in the moonlight.
During
their third meeting they both cried. They didn’t know why.
“It was
always like this with us”, she said.
“I love
you”, he said.
“I love
you”, she said.
And they
both went back to the depths of their waters.
Some days
passed and they sent no messages to each other.
Silence.
Dead silence.
No star, no
light.
A desperate
expectation.
A nothing.
This was
the other side of their relationship.
Then images
appeared:
An apricot
tree with pebbles in a circle on the ground, around its trunk!
An old
apple tree, which bloomed late but its apples were small and bitter!
A sea
sunset through a ruined shelter!
A wooden
northern house in the woods with small patches of gardens, with stones
beautifully set and a sign saying, “Things are like this now, but we don’t know
what will happen in the future”!!!
