Time passed
again and again.
The
memories lost their way in the vast Universe.
Every night
the goddess of the sea came up on the shore. Unspeakable dark nights. He was in
her head ever since "that time". But he was out of her life. She sent her
messages with the wind. The trees of the forest by the lake silenced them up
there in the North.
Every dawn
he came out of his lake. Grey light or white of the ice, all around. She was in his head
ever since "that time". But she was out of his life. He sent his messages with
the rain. But the rain refused to go down there in the South.
They were
afraid to meet. It was not possible, anyway. They didn’t fight for it. Fear
about parting prevented their meeting. The train from the North had come to
find them when they were together at her beach, at "that time". And it was full
of logs. Then the accident happened and the logs started falling off the train.
They were saved but the beach was covered with the huge, heavy tree trunks. And
the dream finishes there.
One day,
white day, he wrote on the snow, “I miss you”.
She never
saw it but she knew it.
One night
she wrote on the sand, “I miss you”.
He never
saw it but he knew it.
Silence had
covered everything.
Words had
frozen in his mouth.
Phrases had
turned into sea water in her mouth.
So time
passed.
Time!
